Welcome to Fourth Grade!
This is my 23rd year of teaching, my ninth year in 4th grade, and my fifth year at St. John Paul II. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Early Elementary Education degree and a Math endorsement from Eastern Kentucky University. My teaching focuses on Math and Science.
I am truly blessed to be able to teach at St. John Paul II. JPII students are such willing learners and the families are wonderful to work with. I also treasure the opportunity to work with and learn from amazing administrators, teachers, and staff. Being able to pray and go to weekly mass with my students is something that I truly cherish.
Fourth grade is such a fun year! Students will get to continue to build upon their Math and Reading skills and knowledge, learn all about Indiana History, and truly get to explore what the Science world is all about. It is also a year that they take on more responsibility for their academics and behavior as well as grow independently.
My husband, Ronnie and I have two children, Logan and Emma. They are both graduates of St. Paul, now known as JPII and Providence High School. Logan graduated from Bellarmine University and is a Physical Therapist for ProRehab in Jeffersonville. Emma will begin her senior year at Indiana University along with her mini Goldendoodle, Oslo aka as Ozzy.
My teaching goal is to always provide a warm and loving learning environment while maintaining a high level of education expectations that will foster life-long learners.
I am looking forward to another great year at JPII.
