My name is Nikki Rice and I will be teaching P.E. on Tuesdays and Thursdays this year. I am excited for this new adventure! I look forward to getting to know the kids and staff at Saint John Paul II through this role.
My background is in Nursing. I started working for Clark Memorial Hospital in 2010 as a nursing assistant. I transitioned into a nursing role when I graduated from Indiana University Southeast in 2012 with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. As a Registered Nurse I worked in both critical care and labor/delivery. I enjoyed my nursing career but was blessed with the opportunity to stay home with my boys at the end of 2018. During my time at home I completed the RCIA program at Saint John Paul II Catholic Church and volunteered on the school athletic committee.
I have been married to my husband Jeff for 9 years and we have 2 wonderful boys! We love the outdoors, we love to be active, and we love to travel. We live in Borden and are members of St. John Paul II Catholic Church in Sellersburg. Connor is currently a 1st grader in Mrs. Brock/Mrs. Chrisco’s class. Dakota is currently a Preschooler in Ms. Woods class. We love the education, the faith based learning, and the small community at Saint John Paul II Catholic School. We are so thankful to be a part of this school and we look forward to the years to come!
