Mrs. Tyla Gernert

Hello! My name is Tyla Gernert and I am excited to join the JPII family as the new Middle School Receptionist this year. I was born and raised in Southern Indiana and currently live in Charlestown. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish from IUS, am a licensed real estate agent in IN & KY and have over 15 years of experience in leadership roles. My daughter (Penelope) attended JPII preschool for the past two years and is now starting Kindergarten at JPII. My husband (Jeremy) and I enjoy traveling and attending concerts. In my free time, I like to crochet and work in our garden. I look forward to meeting everyone once school starts!
