Hello, my name is Sarah Meyer. I am a former graduate of St. Paul Elementary School and returned eleven years ago as a teacher. I graduated from Indiana University Southeast with an Education degree in 2004 and later returned to get my Master’s degree. I taught at Parkwood Elementary in the Greater Clark School Corporation for 7 years before joining the wonderful staff here at JPII. I love teaching at JPII and am looking forward to another great year!
My goal as a teacher is to help all students be successful both academically and personally. I use many teaching techniques within my classroom to help all students learn to their highest potential. I plan to create a Christ Centered classroom environment where students are excited about learning.
One of my goals as a teacher is to challenge each student throughout the year to help them improve as much as they can. I use the Indiana State Standards and the Religious Standards to help guide and plan my instruction. The focus on these standards ensures students are getting the quality education that is expected. It also is helping to prepare them for their future education as well as their future career.
I have two children, Mason who is eleven and Remi who is eight. Mason will begin his Middle School journey this year. Remi will be in 3rd grade here at JPII. In our free time, we love being outdoors and spending time with our friends and family. We are so thankful each and every day for the blessings we have in life.
