This is my fifth year being the classroom assistant for Kindergarten and taking fourth grade to lunch and recess. I also help out subbing for other teachers, special areas, and tutoring OG students. Before I became a classroom assistant I was a substitute teacher for six years at St. John Paul II and other schools.
I'm a graduate of IUS with a Bachelor's Degree in Continuing Studies and a Minor in Communication. I have been married to Jeff for 27 years and have four children. Bethany who has an Associates degree in Elementary Education at Ivy Tech and is working on a Bachelor's degree at IUS. Faith is a Senior at IU, Elaina is starting her Freshman year at Ball State, and Nathaniel is a Junior at Floyd Central.
I really enjoy helping, assisting, and encouraging students to learn new skills. It is very rewarding to see the progress students make during their Kindergarten year. I'm so glad I can be a part of helping them to learn and grow. I look forward to working with new students this school year and be a part of their learning experiences.
