Hi! My name is Amanda Barnett and I'm extremely excited to be joining the St. John Paul II staff as a support teacher. I graduated from the University of Southern Indiana in May of 2018. I hold a Bachelors of Science degree in Communication Studies, as well as a minor in Business Management. I grew up in Mount Vernon, Indiana, which is a small town located south of Evansville. Once I graduated college, I was eager to move to the Louisville area and work in the event industry. A year later, I decided to go a different route to pursue a career in the education field.
September of 2019, was one of the best months of my life. I got to marry my husband, Lucas, and start a new job as the Resource Coordinator at Silver Creek Elementary School. In my free time, I enjoy coaching cheerleading, watching baseball with my family (Go St. Louis Cardinals), playing frisbee with my dog, Hoosier, and traveling the world. I'm looking forward to getting to know the families here at St. John Paul II!
