Several types of technology are used by our teachers to enhance the learning experience. They allow the teacher to better present information and accurately measure student progress and meet individual needs.
Chromebooks
Our Middle School students have "take home" chromebooks. They each have their own chromebook that they use here at school and take home each night. Digital assignments are given on a daily basis through Google Classroom.
Our 5th grade students each have a chromebook to use all day in their classroom. These chromebooks remain at school.
Our students in grades 2, 3, and 4 share chomebooks in their classrooms. The classes have enough chromebooks so that all students in a class have a chromebook to use.
iPads
We currently have 40 ipads that are used in Kindergarten and First Grade. These ipads are maintained by the school and used in both small group and whole group learning situations. Kindergarten and first grade students are taught how to begin using Google Classroom so they will be prepared for eLearning when necessary.
Interactive White Boards
Most classrooms are equipped with an Interactive White Board. The media of the teacher’s choice is displayed from a projector and can be manipulated by the teacher or students to bring a lesson to life.
