My name is Marcia Ernstberger and I teach fourth grade here at St. John Paul II Catholic School.  This year begins my twenty-fourth year of teaching.  I was blessed to join the faculty in 1998.

After graduating from Providence High School in 1986, I attended Ball State University and completed my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education, and later completed my Master's degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. I also have an endorsement in Social Studies.

Fourth grade is a pivotal year for academic growth, responsibility, and being more independent.  Every year that I teach, I am amazed at the strides that are made by my students. It makes me very proud to work with children that set goals for themselves, and through hard work and perseverance, reach those goals. I am also very fortunate to work in an environment where I can share my faith with others, and where dedication and commitment to academic success are evident in every classroom. This common thread is apparent within the faculty and staff with whom I work. It is this kind of devotion that makes my job extremely rewarding.
