Hello, my name is Sarah Meyer.   I am a former graduate of St. Paul Elementary School and returned four years ago as a teacher.  I graduated from Indiana University Southeast with an Education degree in 2004 and later returned to get my Master’s degree.   I taught at Parkwood Elementary in the Greater Clark School Corporation for 7 years before joining the wonderful staff here at St. John Paul II.  I am very excited to be making history as we begin our first year as the St. John Paul II Knights.

My goal as a teacher is to help all students be successful both academically and personally.  I use many teaching techniques within the classroom to help all students learn to their highest potential.  Our classroom is a Christ Centered environment where students are excited about learning.

One of my goals as a teacher is to challenge each student throughout the year to help them improve as much as they can.  I use the Indiana Academic Standards and the Religion Standards to help guide and plan instruction.  The focus on these standards ensures students are getting the quality education that is expected.  It also is helping to prepare them for their future education as well as their future career.

My husband Matt and I have been married since 2007.  We have two children, Mason who is almost five and Remi who is almost two.  Mason will join the St. John Paul II school family this year as he enters the Preschool/Child Care program.  I am excited to have him experience the wonderful school that we are a part of.  In our free time, we love being outdoors and spending time with our friends and family.  We are so thankful each and every day for the blessings we have in life.
